I'VE GOT SUNSHINE ON A CLOUDY DAY.

I woke up this morning and I was expecting another sunny day..no way. Today the weather is grey and cloudy in Milan so all my fashion projects for today fell apart. Here is the look I've chosen for this cloudy day..hopefully tomorrow will be better!

Stamattina mi sono svegliata convinta di trovare una meravigliosa giornata di sole..niente da fare. Oggi a Milano il tempo è grigio e nuvoloso quindi tutti i miei progetti per l'abbigliamento dovranno essere rimandati. Ecco il look che ho scelto per oggi..sperando che domani il tempo torni verso la primavera!

CARLO TIVIOLI FASHION SHOW + LIBORIO CAPIZZI

This year I confess that I've decided to spend the Milan Fashion Week days skiing since the weather was sunny and the snow was great but yesterday I went to Carlo Tivioli fashion show. Thanks to my friend Liborio Capizzi the collection was simply amazing! Liborio is now designing furs for Carlo Tivioli and is doing a great job. After 16 years of work with Gianfranco Ferré a superb collection for Larusmiani, and countless success including the acclaim of the star system (Skin is one of his best friends) I hope that soon he will start to work on his own brand DiLiborio. We have already seen some pieces of DiLiborio, like the one in the first picture below, and what I love the most is how he is able to create something new using existing clothes. If you look better to the pic you will see that the trousers before were a jacket and the shirt is done with some pillowcases! He is a genius! DiLiborio has been presented with a few pieces in 2009, they were provocative and divine and this style is unique. I've found some pics on Skin's blog Skintings, what do you think? Isn't it simply stunning?!

Unfortunately my camera fell on the ground and broke while I was 2 minutes far from the location of the fashion show so please forgive me for the quality of the pics because I've had to use my iPhone!

Ammetto che quest'anno ho preferito passare i giorni della Milano Fashion Week sugli sci, il tempo era splendido e la neve meravigliosa, ma alla fine ieri sono rientrata in città per partecipare alla sfilata di Carlo Tivioli. Grazie al mio amico Liborio Capizzi la collezione ha ricevuto molti applausi e apprezzamenti! Era splendida! Liborio sta ora collaborando con Carlo Tivioli per le sue famose pellicce e sta facendo un lavoro eccelso. Dopo essere stato per 16 anni colonna portante di Gianfranco Ferré, aver disegnato una collezione a dir poco splendida per Larusminani e aver collezionato infiniti successi compresa la consacrazione tra le celebrities (Skin eè una delle sue migliori amiche) spero di cuore che presto Liborio torni a lavorare sulla sua personale collezione DiLiborio. Abbiamo già avuto il piacere di vedere qualche capo come il primo che potete ammirare nella prima foto qui sotto, e ciò che amo di più è vedere come Liborio sia in grado di creare abiti splendidi usando  altri abiti già esistenti. Guardate bene la foto e capirete che i pantaloni sono fatti con una giacca e la camicia con delle federe di cuscino! È un genio! DiLiborio é stata presentata nel 2009 con una serie di capi provocativi, forti e sexy dallo stile unico. Ho trovato alcune foto sul blog di Skin Skintings, cosa ne pensate? Non sono meravigliosi?!

Sfortunatamente la mia macchina fotografica è caduta e si è rotta due minuti prima del mio arrivo alla sfilata quindi perdonate la bassissima qualità delle fotografie ma ho dovuto usare il mio iPhone!

The name is Pose (click to see the website) and gives you the chance to post your favorite outfits and clothes directly from you iPhone creating a huge outfit library! It's really easy to be used and thanks to the different layouts you can also mix your pics to show better your look. Once you've uploaded your pic you can tag what you're wearing from a list of designers.

GO TELL IT ON A MOUNTAIN!

As soon as I've noticed that my iPhone had no signal I knew that I was in the right place. For a romantic getaway I've decided to book a room in a chalet called Être Mascognaz that is reachable only by snow cat or motosleigh in Mascognaz (Champoluc). Champoluc is a small town located in the Aosta Valley, northern Italy, and really well known as a ski resort. If you love to ski here you will find the Monterosa resorts with more than 200 km of runs. In Mascognaz you will also find all you need to relax and enjoy the silence of the valley. There's a quite well equipped SPA (I hope that they will improve it since the opening of the chalet is really recent), a virtual golf room and a long list of outdoor activities that the hotel staff will be glad to help you through. Talking about food you will not be let down! There's also a restaurant in a 1600 renovated chalet, called Lo Pejo, where the chef will prepare special menus making your tasty wishes come true whenever you want! In this area of Italy, as in any other one, please don't forget to ask for the typical region courses..trust me, you will love it especially after a beautiful sunny ski day like the ones that I've spent in these days! Sorry If I've not written any post before but for once I've decided to live without technology, go back to the origins..eat, ski, sleep have been my only activities..I feel brand new!!

Appena mi sono accorta che il mio iPhone non aveva segnale ho capito che ero arrivata nel posto giusto. per una fuga romantica ho deciso di prenotare  una stanza allo chalet Être Mascognaz, un romantico rifugio appena ristrutturato raggiungibile solo con il gatto delle nevi o la moto slitta. Questo gioiello si trova appena sopra Champoluc in Valle d'Aosta, nel nord Italia. Champoluc è a sua volta un gioiello per tutti gli amanti dello sci e della buona cucina. Se amate sciare questo posto fa per voi. Le tre valli che compongono la stazione sciistica Monterosa ski (Val d'Ayas, Valle di Gressoney e Valsesia) sono percorse da più di 200 km di piste battute quotidianamente per tutta la stagione. Cliccate qui per maggiori informazioni. A Mascognaz troverete tutto il necessario per rilassarvi e coccolarvi. La Spa non é male, anche se spero che alcune mancanze siano dovute alla recente apertura dell'hotel, avrete poi a disposizione una Virtual Golf Room e una lunga lista di attività all'aria aperta da programmare insieme allo staff dell'hotel. Parlando di cibo non sarete delusi! In uno chalet del 1600 sapientemente ristrutturato si trova il ristorante Lo Pejo dove lo chef è ben lieto di preparare menù personalizzati per ogni occasione. Anche quest'area d:Italia è famosa per l'ottima cucina regionale quindi non scordatevi di assaggiare i piatti valdostani! Spero adorerete quanto me gustare una racchette dopo una giornata sulle piste! Sono stata molto fortunata perché in questi giorni il sole ha accompagnato le mie giornate sulla neve e, se posso darvi un consiglio, questo è indubbiamente il periodo migliore per sciare!

Spero perdonerete la mia assenza ma ho deciso di abbandonare la tecnologia per qualche giorno..dedicarmi solo a mangiare, dormire e sciare..grazie a questo posso dire di sentirmi totalmente rigenerata!!
