GIORDANO TORRESI - A SHOE STORY.

As promised here I am with the post about Giordano Torresi!

In November something has changed in the most important and fashion streets of Milan. Due to my passion for new designers I immediately found out that a new shoe shop was about to open. Yesterday I've been invited in the shop to take some pictures and interview the PR manager of the brand Larisa Nekic. Giordano Torresi is a young italian stylist coming from Marche, a region that is famous for its tradition of shoe factory. He has always been surrounded creativity and shoe design thanks to his family company and growing up he has decided to follow his roots. First of all he has started to work in his family's factory learning how to match creativity and handcraft, vanguard and tradition. Then he has started to move his first steps towards a more personal success. Brands like Prada, Alaïa, Cavalli and Raphael Young has asked his collaboration to design their collections. In 2009 finally Giordano has decided that he was ready to start his own brand so he opened a first flagship store in Belgrade and three years later in Milan. The philosophy of this brand is based on Made In Italy, each shoe is done in the most traditional way and hand crafted by important professionals of this sector. There's another interesting thing about this shop..it has been designed by one of the most famous designer of the world! Claudio Bellini ha projected all the shop and he has done an amazing job. As you get in you will see how beautiful are the wall, all covered with lace, how the mirrors and the lights give illuminate the shoes..it's paradisiac! I will also interview Claudio Bellini for the Salone del Mobile in April, so don't stop following me because I will be your eye on the design week in Milan! Now it's time for you to give a look to his creations so stop reading and start admiring!!!

Come promesso eccomi con il post dedicato a Giordano Torresi!

A Novembre qualcosa è cambiato nelle più importanti vie della moda milanese. Grazie alla mia passione per i designer emergenti ho scoperto subito che un nuovo negozio di scarpe stava per Aprire vicinissimo a Via Montenapoleone. Ieri sono stata invitata in negozio per fare qualche fotografia alle scarpe e intervistare la PR del brand Larisa Nekic. Giordano Torresi è un giovane stilista proveniente dalle Marche, una regione già famosa per la sua tradizione di calzaturifici. Fina da piccolo Giordano ha vissuto nel mondo delle calzature respirando creatività e imparando quest'arte nell'azienda della sua famiglia. Crescendo ha poi deciso di dedicarvi la sua vita. Dopo aver maturato esperienza nell'azienda di famiglia Giordano ha preso imboccato la strada del successo personale grazie alle collaborazioni con alcune delle griffe più importanti al mondo, parlo di Prada, Alaïa, Cavalli e Raphael Young! Nel 2009 finalmente è stato aperto il primo negozio Giordano Torresi a Belgrado, seguito tre anni dopo da quello di Milano. La filosofia di questo brand è totalmente basata sull'amore per il Made In Italy, ogni scarpa viene realizzata secondo la tradizione artigianale che contraddistingue il nostro paese da professionisti del settore. C'è poi un altro aspetto estremamente importante che riguarda il negozio di Milano. La boutique porta la firma dell'architetto di fama mondiale Claudio Bellini vincitore di ben 6 Compassi d'Oro. Grazie a questo splendido progetto il negozio risplende. Gli specchi e le luci sembrano giocare tra di loro e le pareti sono rivestite di pizzo donando così un aspetto elegante e romantico a tutto l'ambiente..lo definirei paradisiaco! Tra l'atro colgo l'occasione per anticiparvi che intervisterò Claudio Bellini in occasione del Salone del Mobile ad Aprile quindi rimanete con me perché sarò il vostro occhio sulla design week milanese! Ora è arrivato per voi il momento di smettere di leggere e iniziare ad ammirare!!!
